GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Notes : music with strong and beautiful sound connotations of the Greek tradition, since a large part of the film takes place in that Country. In the first side two instrumental tracks from melancholic atmospheres with bouzuki and string section in the main theme (a1), and wind instruments with violins in the second one. The Greek talented actress and singer Jenny Karezi sings in her language two ballads: the first has a lively rhythm not so far from the sirtaki, the second has a slower and suggestive development.
