Description

UNIQUE UNISSUED ACETATE of mIKIS THEODORAKIS singing and playing piano "ECHI O THEOS "made in france in the 60's has Theodorakis singing in greek the song (very slow and moving version completely different rhythm as any versions we heard of him doing that song)   comes with the translation of the words in french one one sheet paper" ENTRE LES LIGNES ENTRE LES MOTS" (typed) which is how Melina mercouri would sing the song after. LABEL is REGENCE/editions salabert and has printed on label "musique THEODORAKIS" and has "MM" handwritten: which can mean of coursed MELINA MERCOURI as she sang that famous song  or it can also be for MIREILLE MATHIEU  as Mireille's name is handwritten( but CROSSED) on the sleeve . initials of the 2 chanteuses are the same so who knows?  this acetate could have been the property of any of those 2 singers .On the REGENCE sleeve is handwritten name MIKIS THEODORAKIS   I'M sure most of us has never heard this version /song before therefore this is possibly a UNIQUE ACETATE the only way to hear a record which belonged to ... Mireille ? Melina ? Melina and has Mikis singing /playing piano solo . condition is excellent
