This auction is for one of several hundred jazz LP's from the '50's-60's I inherited from my grandfather several years ago. He was a collector and 99% of the albums are in "collector's condition". I am not a collector nor a dealer and finally decided to sell everything in the next few months. I know condition is everything and the grading system can be very subjective.  So I think the best way is to described everything on the front and back of the cover and side A and side B of the Lp that makes it not new as when it was purchased. I do not have a suitable record player( $10,000+) to play the LP's, so they were never played nor is my grading based on the sound; only the visual inspection under the sunlight or a 100 watt bulb. I did buy the Goldmine/Neely book to get some idea of value (there are many exceptions and surprises!) but they cost me nothing so my opening bids will be low with NO RESERVE.  Because record condition can be very subjective, I  offer a refund minus shipping if you contact me within 3 days of receiving the LP. If you convince me that I made an error in my description, I will also refund the shipping. I cannot offer any refunds to OVERSEAS Buyers as it will become too complex and costly to do. I am here to offer you something you can appreciate not to rip you off. I have 100% positive feedback. I know there can be variations and deep grove releases that can be mistaken. Front Cover: Almost perfect; super shiny and clean under strong light you can barely make out super light ring ghost, but you have to look hard!. Opening edge has a slight lift about 1mm.

Back Cover: Overall I would have to say mint. Print is bright on a clean surface.

Edges/Corners: Super tight clean cover; but all corners are tapped with about 1-2mm of material loss.

Side 1 and 2 : I've looked over and over to find any imperfections and am having a hard time. In bright light tipping the record there might be some brush scuffing but you have to look over and over to find it. It is shiny overall. On the track "Diane" in the middle there might be a 1/8th" super light scratch. If the corners were sharp and there wasn't the small possible scratch; not sure on the one track I would have to say this is very close to being MINT!
