CAPITOL TURQUOISE LABEL 1957 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH FULLY LAMINATED ROUNDED FLIP BACK SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1957, I am offering today this original first UK pressing on the turquoise CAPITOL label of this rare album by MILES DAVIS which is titled "BIRTH OF THE COOL", One of the best examples you are likely to find.
The album comes complete with its original fully laminated rounded flip back sleeve which I would describe as near excellent. This is a clean example, it has no tears or unwanted writing etc and the spine is fully legible but has a one inch split and a touch of laminate lifting. 
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc an overall very nice example.
 
   
The VINYL, The Vinyl is extremely clean showing just a couple of light inaudible scuffs, I have just played it through and can state that it plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc overall a top example that would be hard to upgrade. 
The SLEEVE, The fully laminated single sleeve is in near excellent condition with no stickers or unwanted writing etc but shows an inch of splitting to the top seam and a touch of laminate lifting otherwise this is a nice example.  
The LABELS, The turquoise Capitol labels are very clean, showing just a few spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc. you can see that this has hardly been played.
The INNER, The original emitex inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
 
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
