Description
- Another gem from the estate of a lifelong Audiophile and Jazz collector... We will be listing several more from this collection.
- Somethin' Else Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Art Blakey
- Believed to be a 1958 FIRST PRESSING ...
- - 47 WEST 63rd - NYC address and MICROGROOVE, and no ® on the labels
- Deep groove on both sides.
- No "Inc." in the address on the labels, or back cover.
- "P", for the Plastylite pressing plant, is stamped a bit crookedly, and hard to read
- RVG stamped in the trail off, both sides. - Vinyl is Visually VG+. The only visual mark is on side A, track 1. It is non-feelable, and does not affect play. (see photo) labels have slight discoloration.
- Sonically, record plays with very mild background noise, nothing that distracts from the full MONO glory that this record delivers. Exactly what you should expected from a well-taken care of 1958 album!
- Jacket is in nice VG+ condition as well. Minor delamination on bottom of front cover, spine is nice, and there's a tiny price sticker on top right of back cover. Tiny "L" stamp on bottom right of back cover. No splits...
- The record was given the full four-step Ultrasonic cleaning: Ultrasonic bath with TergiKleen, rinse in distilled water, Vacuumed with Record Doctor, zapped with the Zerostat before placing in a new archival sleeve. (The original inner sleeve is not present).
