Almost like receiving the box from Mosaic Records themselves.


Purchased directly from Mosaic by me.  Handled only twice… once to move from the initial box to another storage box and then the second time to take the above pictures.


Has been stored in a mailer box between sheets of bubble-wrap so it has been kept out of light.  From a smoke-free, pet-free, climate controlled household.


Additional Item Information:


Will be shipped either in an oversided box with a lot of bubble-wrap or double-boxed with shipping peanuts to ensure that no corners are dinged… so it will be shipped better than by Mosaic.


A sheet of bubble-wrap or basic white paper (depending on amount of space available) between the booklet and the top box so that no smearing of the booklet cover can happen in transit.


KEEP AN EYE OUT because in the following weeks and months I will be listing other unplayed Miles Davis vinyl box sets from Mosaic, other Mosaic box sets (vinyl as well as CD), as well as sealed Classic Records 45 RPM box sets, and a variety of new and used vinyl and CD titles hanging from classical (CRI, DG, etc) to avant-garde (Anthony Braxton, The Residents, David Tudor) to rock/indie rock (Sub Pop Singles Club 3.0 as well as Vault releases by Jack White's (White Stripes) Third Man Records, just to name a few).



Explanation of Grading Scale:

Vinyl Cover  M = Looks new and should sound as though it was never played.  M = Looks untouched.  NM = Near perfect, at most a light scuff but it should play without any noise or skips.   NM = Near perfect with only minor signs of wear. There should be no "ring wear" on the cover.  VG++ = Plays with no skips of any kind. There can be some very minor surface scuffs, but they should not affect the sound quality. No scratches.  VG++ = Can have some minor ring wear, but it should be in generally good shape. There can be some minor creases in the corners but no splits in the seams.  VG+ = Some surface noise and the vinyl will show wear, including surface scuffs and some light scratches. However, should still be very listenable as there are no deep scratches that cause skips.   VG+ = Corners may be slightly bent, but not broken. There may be wear to the seams but not tears or holes.  VG = Doesn't look good, but still plays well enough. Surface noise will probably be present, including pops and clicks.  At higher volume levels, the music should overpower any of the pops and clicks.    VG = There may be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear on the cover, but the cover should for the most part still be in good condition.  G = Well played and looks it. However, the record should still play without skipping. It will have substantial surface noise, pops and clicks.   G = Has many problems including seam splits, tears, and writing on it.  P = Basically unlistenable. Surface noise, skips and pops make hearing what's on the record nearly impossible, if not completely impossible.  P = Falling apart, torn, and has writing all over it.
