Description
Original 1957 (demo) mono recording of Miles Davis playing the soundtrack from the French film L'Ascenseur pour l'echafaud (Elevator to the Scaffold). Side 1 features Miles on trumpet, Barney Wilen on tenor and Rene Urtreger on piano. Side 2 recorded in 1958 finds Miles teamed up with John Coltrane on tenor, Julian "Cannonball" Adderly on alto, Bill Evans on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums playing On Green Dolphin Street, Put Your Little Foot Right Out and Stella By Starlight. Record is Very Good-Plus, cover is Very Good with tape accross the top due to seam wear. Comes from a smoke/pet free environment. US shipping only via Media Mail with tracking.
