“Kind Of Blue”

MILES DAVIS

Original 1st early pressing copy of Miles Davis Kind Of Blue with Julian "Cannonball" Adderly, Paul Chambers, James Cobb, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly. It's very rare to see a copy pressed at the Columbia Records Hollywood pressing pant, which contains the vert early matrix stampers -1AC / -1AA. Original thick cardboard cover with the copyright credit "® Columbia, Marcas Reg. Printed in U.S.A. Photo: Jay Maisel" located vertically at the mouth of the front cover and CL 1355 catalog number at the bottom left corner. Misprint version issue, which contains a unique misprint track listing combination on the back cover and Side 2 label with "Flamenco Sketches " indicated as the first track and "All Blues" as the second one. This misprint was corrected only after November 1959. The back cover contains “4” at the bottom right corner, identifying the manufacturer of the cover as Imperial Packing Co., Inc. of Indianapolis, IN. The cover is still in its original fully intact shrink wrap with original breathe holes. The shrink wrap has a couple of very light seam splits at the top edge and bottom left corner, without any missing pieces. Some very light hint of ring wear at the bottom. The shrink wrap has helped to preserve the cover in a very clean condition, without any writing, soiling or scuffs. Perfect rigid spine with a fully readable text. Original red Columbia Record 6-Eye deep groove Mono labels with the CL 1355 catalog number and “Nonbreakable” banner right beneath it. Side 2 has a unique misprint track listing combination. This issue contains an original 1st print “Columbia celebrates its 10th Year with the greatest collection of new albums ever recorded!” inner sleeve in Near Mint condition! Thick plate heavy weight vinyl with the very early matrix numbers: Side 1 - XLP47324-1AC II / Side 2 - XLP47325-1AA I with an “H” identifier of the Columbia Records Hollywood pressing plant. The vinyl has some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve, with the vivid clean wear-free labels, only containing some very light spindle marks seen under a strong light source. I’m trying to grade conservatively. Therefore, I can tell this is a very solid copy of this legendary album.

 CONDITION:

VINYL - VERY GOOD ++ (VG++)

COVER -  NEAT MINT (NM)

Please pay attention that we DON'T ship to Russia and Germany. No exceptions. We'll immediately cancel the transaction if our policy conditions are violated. Sorry about that.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
