Description
I am parting with some of my treasured LPs. Here's an cool MILES DAVIS LP originally recorded in 1954 with an incredible group of musicians that included; John Lewis, Mingus, Horace Silver, on piano, Percy Heath Bass, Max Roach, Kenny Clarke, Art Blakey, Drums . with of course Miles on Trumpet. An all star crew. This LP was reissued in 1984 by Prestige Jazz Classics division of Prestige. Having originally been engineered by the legendary Rudy Van Gelder, Prestige insisted that he remaster this great LP so the recording would stay as true to the original, as intended. They wanted to make this great LP available to a wider audience at the 30 year anniversary, a time that had seen Miles turn from a budding talent to a man who had changed the directions of Jazz a number of times.
This copy shows some ring wear front and back, as well as some small water stain across the bottom front
