Description
MILES DAVIS LP KIND OF BLUE 1959, on the US COLUMBIA LABEL. CAT#CS8163. This LP is a STEREO COPY. Considered an essential LP in Jazz. The Stereo copies are more rare than the mono's. This copy is amazingly super clean. This is the double misprint cover, where it lists FLAMENCO SKETCHES" as the first track on side 2, when it is the second. The labels are correct. The other misprint is Cannonball Adderley's name is spelled wrong on the cover.
COVER VG++ Very sweet cover that has very beautiful front. The top left corner has a small ding, and the top seam there has 1/4" paper loss. Bottom seam has paper loss at the opening for1/2". The spine is mostly perfect, but has paper loss at top for 1/8". The back cover is in great shape, but does have slight toning, especially around the edges. Bottom right is a "3.95" in pen, must have been a price, and next to that is a black pen "2".
VINYL VG++. A beauty, with full gloss, and no marks at all. The labels have a few spindle marks. It was carefully played, and kept in wonderful condition. Super clean copy. Would be pretty hard to find a cleaner playing copy.
OG PLASTIC INNER VG+ Is imprinted with "Columbia" and "Stereo Fidelity with 2 arrows" and then "This Columbia stereo fidelity recording is designed for use on 33 1/3 RPM Stereophonic reproducers". The inner is in great shape, but obviously her the LP for over 60 years.
