Description
MILES DAVIS LP LIVE EVIL A 1971 release. This copy is an OG 1971 US COLUMBIA STEREO PRESSING CAT#G30954. Miles excelled at playing live. His live recordings are all treasures, and this is a top example. And especially with the band that included; CHIC COREA, HERBIE HANCOCK, WAYNE SHORTER, JOE ZWAINUL, JOHN MCGLAUGHLIN, JACK DEJONETTE, KEITH JARRETT, AIRTO, HERMETO PASCOAL, AND DAVE HOLLAND. A total Allstar line up, or really hall of fame type line up here, and they go into places that were out there. This is a great playing copy. The cover has some issues that bring the grade down, but it's still very respectable.
COVER VG. Front cover is really beautiful, but with a bit of wear (some ring wear, top left corner, and along the bottom) see photos. The vivid colors, and the striking cover art doesn't allow me to focus on the blemishes. The spine has a 1" tear 3" up from the bottom. The top and bottom spine have slightly soft corners. Bottom and top seams have some shelf nicks. Top seam on the back record has a split of 5" from the open. The back cover is also vivid and very nice colors, but has some wear too. The corners in the back are all soft. Inside gatefold has some lite toning.
VINYL. VG+ It's a fantastic play, super clean. A little surface sound in some quiet areas, but overall plays wonderfully clean.
