This is the classic Miles Davis LP 'Milestones' one of the original 6 Eye Pressing on Columbia Records. This was renown for later re-issues being ruined by a failed stereo re-issue, making the original mono issue a must have. This is the original mono pressing, and the deadwax matrix has a different combo ending then other copies which were either 1B/IE or even 1B/1D. This copy happens to be 1B/1J - which I am not sure if this was a different pressing plant code, or the number of the metal stampers that had been used.
I can assure you this copy is a great playing copy, and does have the occasional pop - slight scuff mark which does not affect playback (very clean overall). I have placed a needle drop, no editing, what you hear is the whole LP. Vinyl overall still has nice sheen/glare going on (see photos). The cover has shown some wear, The top left corner has the number 19 in pen. Seams on top and bottom are intact, slight hair-lip tear on top right, something which is normal due to storage. There are some fading/mark over the face of Miles on the cover. Due to these aspects, the cover is considered VG.
With that in mind, this is player's copy, and a great find for anyone wanting to gather an affordable copy. Any other questions feel free to ask.

RECORD GRADING
MINT (M): Record as new and still sealed or unplayed.
NEAR MINT (NM): Both sleeve and vinyl appear in superb condition with no visual damage.
EXCELLENT (EX): Sleeve may have some very slight wear and vinyl may have some very slight surface marks.
VERY GOOD (VG): Sleeve will have some normal wear and tear without any major defects and vinyl will have noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
GOOD (G): Sleeve and contents will suffer from folding, scuffing and/ or edge splits, discoloration etc. Vinyl will have numerous surface marks/ light scratches.
FAIR (F): The sleeve has serious damage- major tears, staining etc. Vinyl will have serious damage- deep scratches etc. Records in this condition will be collection-fillers only.
