Miles Davis – Milestones
Miles Dewey Davis III (May 26, 1926 - September 28, 1991) was an American trumpeter, bandleader and composer. Widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, Miles Davis was, with his musical groups, at the forefront of several major developments in jazz music including cool jazz, hard bop, free jazz, and fusion. Many well-known jazz musicians made their names as members of his ensembles, including John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Cannonball Adderley, Gerry Mulligan, Tony Williams, George Coleman, JJ Johnson, Keith Jarrett, John Scofield and Kenny Garrett.

The album is on CBS Records, BPG 62308. Matrix side one: 62308 A1 (stamped). Matrix side two: 62308 B1 (stamped).
Originally released in 1958, this is a 1966 reissue. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated): very good (a few light laminate creases, corner bash top left, very light aging and price written in pencil on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy on return of the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
