Description
You are looking at an original 1956 Prestige deep groove pressing of Miles Davis and Milt Jackson Quintet / Sextet. This is an unusually crisp and clean copy. West 50th labels. RVG. You will have trouble finding an original mono dg copy of this pressing that is in better shape than this one. I have included clips of this LP so that you can hear it for yourself. Please see below to listen to clips of this LP. LP ultrasonically cleaned and placed in a new poly inner sleeve.
Vinyl Condition: NM-. Very glossy with crisp and clean labels. Vinyl surface is super smooth with great gloss. I only see faint, minor sleeve scuffs seen under a bright light. I do not see any surface wear or scratches. Looks barely played and like it may have been gently played once or twice and then never played again. The labels look very clean with bright yellows. I see almost no spindle marks. Play tested and play grades NM- to NM from start to finish. Wonderful, atmospheric pressing sonics. You really feel like Milt Jackson and Miles are in the room with you. Very clean sound. I only heard the faintest of low background noise and an occasional low crackle.
Outer Sleeve (cover) condition: NM-. Almost NM. Unusually glossy and clean with vibrant front cover colors. I see only the most minor of edge shelf wear. Looks like it fell out of a time machine from the 1950s.
