Description

I am helping my parents with the sale of my fathers Bebop, Post Bop & Cool Jazz collection.

My dad was a Jazz drummer himself and can be heard on a small number of pretty rare Jazz 45s in the late 50s and early 60s.

He always took extremely good care of his records,
only listened to them with highest grade needles and setups.

So this auction is for:

PRLP 7150 MILES DAVIS AND THE MODERN JAZZ GIANTS

Mastered by Rudy Van Gelder.

Deep groove, pressed on heavy vinyl with yellow labels.
Company address of "203 So. Washington Ave, Bergenfield, N.J."
Cover has laminated foil over cover artwork paper.

Matrix numbers in deadwax:
RVG PRLP -7150-A

CONDITION

COVER & LABEL :
Cover is in great condition with some discoloration on the back
the back seam is taped otherwise the seams are perfect (see photos)
Labels look great, with small BIEM import stickers on each side.

VINYL:  plays near mint
with only very slight background noise in the quiet passages at the beginning of each side.


SHIPPING:

The record will be packed in a professional mailer and shipped via DHL insured.
The vinyl will be put inside a seperate plastic sleeve to avoid additional damage to the spines of the sleeve.
