For auction is MILES DAVIS' "Miles Ahead," Columbia Six-Eye, CL 1041, MONO, DG, 1957.
SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall the playback is very nice, predominantly clean, sharp sound. There is a touch of intermittent surface noise here and there, very minor. One "problem" area, though: A5, "Miles Ahead," has louder ticks associated with a scratch at the end of side A. Overall though, very enjoyable playback with nice sound.
VINYL: VG
There is a small, feel-able scratch at the end of side A. Otherwise, there are routine scuffs or marks either side, but these all appear superficial. The deep-grooved labels have some faint spindle marks, but overall appear very nice. The scratch makes the vinyl grade VG, but this is extremely conservative!
JACKET: VG+
The jacket is solid all-around, but the corners are a little bit frayed. Both the front and back covers are very clean. The back has a few small, stray pen-marks.

A great record that plays very nicely, and a good value at $35.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
