You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE! 1956 ORIGINAL PRESTIGE RECORD WITH DEEP GROOVE AND 446 W.50TH ST. N.Y.C. ON A YELLOW AND BLACK LABEL AND RVG IN THE DEAD WAX titled Collector's Item featuring Miles Davis on Trumpet with Sonny Rollins and Charlie Chan (Parker) on Tenor Saxophones, Walter Bishop and Tommy Flanagan on Piano, Percy Heath and Paul Chambers on Bass and Philly Joe Jones and Art Taylor on Drums. The vinyl is NM! on Side A and EX- on Side B with one scratch 3/4" that will sound and skip on the second track Vierd Blues otherwise the complete record would have been NM! I HAVE LISTENED TO BOTH SIDES AND THE RECORD SOUNDS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THAT SCRATCH WHERE IT SKIPS AND MAKES A DEFINITE SOUND FOR NO MORE THAN A MINUTE OR TWO. Selections include The Serpent's Tooth I, The Serpent's Tooth II, 'Round About Midnight, Compulsion, No Line, Vierd Blues and In Your Own Sweet Way. EXTREMELY RARE AND DIFFICULT ITEM TO FIND!!!
