Description

For auction is MILES DAVIS' "Someday My Prince Will Come" CL 1656, 1961. With John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Wynton Kelly, others.

SOUND: VG/VG+

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, the playback is clean and excellent. For completeness, I mention 2 bits of soft surface noise and a few soft ticks. These occur on A2, "Old Folks" and B3, "I Thought About You." Altogether they are minor, brief, and not distracting. Overall, the record is very good, very enjoyable.

VINYL: VG or better

Visually, the vinyl has minor smudges and light needle marks. I see nothing that looks serious. On "red-six-eye" label. Demonstration copy.

COVER: VG++

The cover is Very nice! Solid edges with minimal wear. Corners have very minor wear. The front is extremely nice, clean and unmarked. The back too, very clean with minimal aging. Has a red "Demo" stamp.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

An excellent record with no reserve, bidding starts at $10.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
