MILES DAVIS – THE MUSING OF MILES – RECORD ONLY – VG+ - DG – NYC – MONO
I case you’re looking for something to replace a hammered LP of this session, it was recorded at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio on June 7, 1955. SIDE A: WILL YOU STILL BE MINE; I SEE YOUR FACE BEFORE ME and I DIDN’T. SIDE B: GAL IN CALICO; A NIGHT IN TUNISIA and GREEN HAZE. Joining Miles is Red Garland on Piano, Oscar Pettiford on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. On the label is “446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C.” In The blank vinyl are the initials “RVG.” This is a Deep Groove pressing and a Mono recording.
I’ve graded the vinyl as VG+ as having listened to it, there is surface noise on the LP, but does not interfere with the playing of the LP. By looking at it, the vinyl appears to be clean, with a few marks on it. If I hadn’t listened to it, I would have given it an EX. There is no wear in or around the spindle hole.
