Description
Blue Note Records BLP 1502, this is an original mono pressing of the seminal Miles Davis LP "Volume 2". Davis is joined on these sesions by Horace Silver, Jay jay Johnson, Percy Heath, & Art Blakey. This pressing has the 161 Lexington Ave, NYC address notation on the labels, with the "deep groove" on both sides, in addition to "RVG" and the infamous "ear" symbol etched in the dead wax. Cover is a nice VG+++/NM-, showing just a bit of ring wear. Vinyl is shiny and clean NM-; there are no scratches or scuffs, but there are a few faint paper marks on either side visible under a 75 watt light. Playback is strong throughout, with the occasional crackle during the quieter interludes. Blue and white labels are crisp with just a hint of spindle wear. Overall, a very nice original of this scarce Miles LP. Buyer pays $6.50 shipping in the US, $13.00 airmail overseas. I accept Paypal, US postal Money Orders, and well concealed US Dollars.
