Miles Davis (tp) Jackie McLean (as) Milt Jackson (vib) Ray Bryant (p) Percy Heath (b) Art Taylor (d) Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, August 5, 1955 Original Prestige Records #7034, a 12 inch 33&1/3 MONO THICK VINYL DEEP GROOVE pressing from 1956, 446 West 50th St. address on the label and "RVG" in the dead wax.
The vinyl shows lots of scuffing and scattered needle marks on both sides and looks VG-, but it plays much better than that due to the deep groove pressing, only some light background static and and a small handful of louder ticks throughout in the loud tracks, a little more noticeable in the Milt Jackson track (last track) because it's quieter, it sounds around VG to VG+, a fine play copy.
The thick card stock cover is slightly dished, it has very light ringwear on the back, some spotting on the back, and a tiny split at the top opening, VG+ (see pictures for more details).
