Description

This is the super-deluxe edition of Bitches Brew contained in a 12" x 12" box.

It contains 2 CD's with the original 94 minutes of music plus 6 bonus tracks, a third CD of the 1970 live performance at Tanglewood. There is a DVD of the 1969 live concert in Copenhagen. Also there is an audiophile 180-gram vinyl double LP gatefold replica of the original album.

There is a 52 page colour 12" x 12" book with dozens of rare photographs and record label memos plus much else. There is a memorabilia envelope containing a foldout poster of Miles Davis, high quality photograph prints, reproductions of 3 Fillmore West tickets from 1970 plus much else. Last but not least is an open disc which enables you to create your own link with Miles Davis by putting CD 1 into your computer.

The CDs and DVD have been played once. The open disc link has never been used by me. The memorabilia envelope is unopened by myself and the seal appears unbroken. The double LP has been played once and I notice on record 1 there is a fine mark on either side but it played without fault. Record 2 appears to be in near mint condition.

Unfortunately there is a problem in that the back of the album sleeve appears to have been stuck to the front cover of the book and there is damage to them both which can be seen on the photos. All the pages in the 48 page book open freely but there is evidence of crinkling throughout and whilst none of the pictures or articles are damaged I can only list this part as being in good condition. It was like this when I bought the box set but the cosmetic damage made no difference to me.

I am listing this at a low starting price so that it can find its own market value.   

The record will be sent in a proper record mailer with cardboard stiffener and posted by Royal Mail First Class.

If you let me know that you are bidding on other items I will combine postage wherever possible but payment must be made not later than 7 days after the first auction has ended. Please wait for my invoice. before paying. I make no profit at all on postage and do not charge for the new mailer, but I do have a rough rule of thumb in that total value up to £20 I send Royal mail First Class, up to £50 Royal Mail First Class Signed For and over £50 (ish) Special Delivery so the amount of reduction in essence depends on what you've bought and the weight of the parcel.
