DESCRIPTION

Milton & Anne Delugg / George Brackman - “Gulliver’s Travels Beyond The Moon” Mainstream Records 54001 (Mono) from 1966. Hard to find White Label DJ Only Promo pressing of this Cool Anime / Cartoon Studiotrack album. The Music and Lyrics were Written by Milton and Anne Delugg. No credits are given for who actually plays the music but George Brackman is listed as Musical Supervisor so I am guessing that means he Directed. From what I understand, the Deluggs’ Son Stephen voiced the lead role of Ricky on the album. Hard to find a White Label Promo version of this Children’s album in this nice shape!

CONDITION

The Gatefold Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some fairly slight ring and edge shelf wear, slight corner softening and a bit of yellowing on the white portions around the edge. There is a “D. J. Not For Sale” stamp on the inside of the cover. There is a bit of very faint writing on the front just below the title - could maybe be removed? - but is not very visible. Still, super bright and solid with no splits, stains, tears, etc. and I would still rate it as at least a strong VG and really probably VG+. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition and looks to be very lightly played. If you look closely you can spot a few light scuffs and a couple light hairlines but it plays pretty much perfectly. I am calling it VG+ to account for the slight visual marks but it plays EX to Near Mint all through. The White Promo Only Labels are Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less!
