Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition vinyl 2 LP Set and 1979 FIRST PRESSING on the Atlantic Records label and a remarkable Live Recording made at the Antibes Jazz Festival on July 13, 1960 by CHARLES MINGUS and titled "Mingus at Antibes"--the recording features one of Mingus's finest groups and includes TED CURSON on trumpet, ERIC DOLPHY on alto saxophone and bass clarinet, BOOKER ERVIN on tenor saxophone, DANNIE RICHMOND on drums, and pianist BUD POWELL guesting on piano on one track. The LP is a 1979 Blue Note Records issue with the serial number SD 2-3001, is a 1st PRESSING of this set and Stereo recording and was made in the United States.
This 2 LP Set is in outstanding condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) overall condition and should play beautifully, with a couple of moderate scuffs and a few light paper scuffs that does not significantly affect play except for just a few light and random pops in a couple of places; the deluxe gatefold cover is also in NM- condition with a small notch on the lower right edge, slight ringwear on the back surface and upper portion of the front surface, a slight thumb crease on the center right of the front cover, a couple of slight creases on the lower right corner of the front cover and spine end, slight dings on the spine tips and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws! The two ORIGINAL ATLANTIC RECORDS INNER SLEEVES are both included and in excellent shape, with small notches on the lower right edges, a small tear on the lower right corner of one sleeve, and small transparent tape places on the center edges.

Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
