Notes if any:

Minnie Riperton’s debut solo LP, Come to My Garden, is an exquisite introduction to her singular talent—featuring lush orchestration by Charles Stepney and deeply emotional, introspective vocal performances. This  album showcases Riperton stepping away from the more psychedelic rock‑soul textures of Rotary Connection and moving into a chamber‑soul space, marrying soft jazz, orchestral flourishes, and poetic mood. Though it wasn’t a commercial hit at first, it gained recognition over time, especially after its reissue, and remains regarded by critics and fans alike as a masterpiece of early ’70s soul artistry.
