  MINOR THREAT "In My Eyes" 1st pressing RED VINYL, MINT DESCRIPTION: Absolutely MINT condition copy of 1st pressing (Red Vinyl) of Minor Threat's 2nd 7" EP, released in December 1981. Dischord No. 5 / Limp Records No. 41.  Only 1,000 copies were pressed, and of those 1,000, the first 125 were sold with a xeroxed cover, which means that there were only 875 copies of the record made with the printed cover offered here.   
  Cover is hand-folded and glued, printed on non-glossy paper stock.  The copy I'm selling here is definitely one of the best-folded and neatly glued I've ever seen.  Very straight, and no excess glue anywhere (which was pretty normal - cutting, folding, and gluing the early Dischord record covers got very boring and tedious after a couple hours).
  Record itself is in its original white paper inner sleeve.  Included is a lyric sheet, which was not completed in time to be included with the first 125 records.   
 This Minor Threat record has 4 songs: "In My Eyes", "Out of Step (with the world)", "Guilty of Being White",  and "Steppin' Stone".  Recorded by Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia (on 4-track tapedeck, in the basement of his house).  Produced by Minor Threat. Mixed by Minor Threat and Don.  Made possible by Skip Groff (of Yesterday & Today records, and owner of Limp Records).

CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  This record is in absolutely mint condition, and has been kept in its original plastic sleeve away from light and dust since it was made 28 years ago.  It is as good as any of the copies I am keeping in my permanent archives.  This record has never been played.  Good luck finding another copy in such pristine condition.   
 This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1981.  It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."  Please see my auction for lots of other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......

SHIPPING: Record will be packed flat between multiple sheets of strong cardboard, and then put inside another box to protect it against idiots.  This means the package will weigh a bit more, but to me it's worth it to protect it on its way to you.   Priority Mail will be calculated at the end of the auction.  Delivery Confirmation/Insurance (which eBay requires me to provide and pay for)  will be $4.00.  Outside of USA, reasonable Airmail rates apply.
