MINOR THREAT In My Eyes Test Pressing SIGNED BY BAND!
DESCRIPTION: Pretty darn MINT condition test pressing of Minor Threat's 2nd 7" EP, “In My Eyes”, released in December 1981. Dischord No. 5 / Limp Records No. 41.  I?cannot remember off-hand how many test pressings we had made, but I’m quite sure it would have been less than 50.  The very nice and helpful ThreatBase.com website says there were only 12 pressed, but given that there are a few inaccurate things on the website, it is clear that while ThreatBase posts what they believe to be the most accurate info, not all of it is correct.
 This Minor Threat record has 4 songs: "In My Eyes", "Out of Step (with the world)", "Guilty of Being White",  and "Steppin' Stone".  Recorded by Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia (on 4-track tapedeck, in the basement of his house).  Produced by Minor Threat. Mixed by Minor Threat and Don.  Made possible by Skip Groff (of Yesterday & Today records, and owner of Limp Records).
 I (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord) had all the band members sign this particular test pressing right when we got them, and right before the band broke up when Lyle went off to college (or perhaps he’d already gone off to college, and I?had him sign it when he was home on school break).  Anyway, Ian MacKaye and I?signed it on side B, and Lyle Preslar and Brian Baker signed it on Side A.
 This is definitely the only “In My Eyes”?test pressing I will ever sell.  I will never sell another copy.

CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  This record is in near-mint condition, and has been away from light and dust since it was pressed 28 years ago.  The record has one very slight surface scratch.  I did my best to take a photo of it, but it is very slight and is not immediately noticeable.  Record plays fine.  This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1981.  It comes from my punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."  Please add me as a favorite seller on eBay, and then you can see what other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......
