We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1968 first pressing of organist/composer Lee Michaels first album, completely nothing like anything else he did...sitting squarely in a heavy edged psych band with melody-rich self compositions, this is no light weight affair and has been a solid "psych" collectible for many years now, rightly so....

Gotten hard to find especially in CLEAN shape, like this... 49 years old!

Part of the "San Francisco Sound", Lee Michaels frequently gigged at numerous hippie-scene Bay Area ballrooms and auditoriums in 1967 - 1968 with his 'heavy psych' band featured here.

CARNIVAL OF LIFE contains a lot of amazing fuzz & wah-wah guitar work of Hamilton W. Watt, (of the late 60's, early 70's outfit "Euphoria"), solid drumming by the legendary Eddie Hoh and heavy Hammond organ courtesy of Lee himself...all told, the Lp is filled with high energy heaviness drenched in sixties psychedelic sounds that will surprise the unsuspecting listener. Catchy, heavy, melodic arrangements abound and Lee's singing is really strong for the early effort. There are no 2-3 part vocal harmonies contained here, which flourished on many other groups of this era.

CARNIVAL OF LIFE generates strong cross-over appeal to the underground crowd. Some of these tracks are actually pop/psych and basically a hard rock record, which features strong psych overtones...Overall, it's a superb album with several highlights including the Hendrix Experience influence heavy "LOVE" ... many will and do dig this album....

CONDITION: The cover: still rating is MINT...a top copy with 4 sharp corners, no bends, no writing and no split seams ... 49 years of age ... NO DELETE MARKS (so rare for this LP)

The vinyl: all glossy clean over both sides rated: M- super - clean, extra nice will play with minty audio <-> no problems... both brown A&M labels are clean
