Here a beautiful vintage original album from my collection offered up for sale: The Rolling Stones debut album, a MONO Decca Lp, "THE ROLLING STONES" their 1st album released in England. Released on Decca Records LK-4605, this vintage 51 year old pressing has the boxed labels and was released in 1970, The front cover has a beautiful portrait of the boys and has the original vintage Decca printed inner sleeve.. Songs include Chuck Berry's "Carol", Willie Dixon's "I just wanna make love to you", "Bobby troupe's "Route 66", Bo Diddley's I need you baby" Jimmy Reed's "Honest I do"", and one original by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger "Tell me" and more! Awesome 51 year old Rolling Stones collectable vinyl, will make a great addition to your collection!
The vinyl record rates near Mint, is glossy and clean, looks pristine! breathtaking! ,fantastic! has been PLAY TESTED. Plays excellent from start to finish, bright clear sound, no skips or jumps and a very enjoyable listen! The Decca inner sleeve is clean, no splits..
The cover rates VG+/EX, great front portrait of band with only very light ring wear noted on rear cover, two light creases in 2 corners, edges and corners EX, binder edge is EX & readable, no splits, no tape, no signatures or writing.Two tiny punch holes in lower corner that do NOT go through to the front cover! A few small indentations on center of rear cover (undoubtedly caused from being in storage next to Sticky fingers zipper Andy Warhol designed cover) A great looking jacket overall. (see photos)
Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
