Here is a COOL roots of rock album that has been finely preserved and at the same time defaced with a date written on the cover, Elvis's SCARCE Lp album "For LP Fans Only", was released 1959 on RCA records LPM-1990. This HARD TO FIND album is an original 1959 LONG PLAY mono pressing with the black RCA nipper dog labels. Songs include: That's alright Mama, Mystery train, "I'm left, you're right, she's gone" , "Shake Rattle & Roll", "My baby left me" & MORE! Disc near pristine! superb!
This unique album released by RCA in 1959 contains all of Elvis's Sun Records records recorded from 1954-1956.This is a sad case where the record and jacket would grade at MINT- but a previous owner has inexplicably written a date of 1959 on the jacket and the labels. WHY!! Anyways, other than this horrible record album ownership sin, it has been remarkably well cared for! Please read description and look at the photos.
The record grades near Mint, super clean and glossy, could pass for unplayed! PLAY TESTED, and plays with excellent sound quality! The labels don't show any wear but upon close inspection the owner wrote 1959 on them too! It's very unnoticeable as it appears to be black marker on a black label.
The cover would rate near Mint, but both the front and rear cover have 1959 written on them three times. Otherwise it is outstanding! Jacket is clean & crisp! no real visible wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX & readable, no other signatures or writing, NO ring wear & has been well cared for and fantastically preserved! Album will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in inner sleeves outside cover to prevent cover splits.
