An extremely CLEAN 1974 ORIGINAL "MUSEUM" QUALITY COLLECTIBLE STILL IN FACTORY CELLOPHANE ...and perfect! "
In the 44 minutes of this album, it packs a brutal hard-punch from start to finish.
Perhaps David Coverdale's finest moments as he steps out from the shadow of Ian Gillan and makes the best of his opportunity.
The ferocious energy of the leads off track 'Burn' - is incendiary ...the band a well oiled machine and rocking on fire....
'Mistreated' is awesome and really takes you on an emotional journey. The tone on Blackmores guitar is intense and Coverdales vocals are visceral and heartfelt.
'Lady Double Dealer' is a great romp with Coverdale at his rock-God best "..there ain't no woman gonna make a fool out me..oh no..."
The intro to 'You fool no one' features the beautiful hammond swirl of Jon Lord before Ian Paice kicks it in the teeth with a powerful cowbell/bass drum onslaught. When Glenn Hughes bass kicks in followed by Blackmore it's pure sonic bliss.
The mighty riff of 'Stormbringer' brings proceedings to a satisfying if somewhat premature end.
Perhaps David Coverdale's finest moments as he steps out from the shadow of Ian Gillan and makes the best of his opportunity.
