This is one of those treasures, a true classic, lost on so many - rated as one of the GREATEST "LIVE" albums EVER!!!
"On Your Feet Or On Your Knees" - a special live 1975 concert - entire performance double album never really got the proper respect and attention and adoration that it deserved.
With only LISTENING to ALL FOUR SIDES you experience this talented 70's band in its prime, showing off, and shining their hard rock crafted-melodic infused gems - with no less than three guitars blazing! Captured in all of the bands raw hard rock efforts, some of the songs the vocals get lost in the mix, but over-all it's fantastic. The instruments are very clear and you get a good mix of the whole jamming band. Highlights include special extended versions of classics like "Subhuman", "Last Days of May", "The Red and the Black", and "Buck's Boogie." Hear a classic '70s hard-rock band on display, one that delivers a killer performance (Eric Bloom's STUN guitar!!).
If you are old enough to have seen them live at this juncture (we did) they put on one helluva show (guitars nirvana!) and this album will either bring back fond, albeit, foggy memories or a showcase for those who were not fortunate enough to be there.
