Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ORIGINAL 1969 FIRST PRESS FINAL COLLECTION COPY - MINT CLEAN!
..
"20 / 20"
USA -STARLINE/CAPITOL - SKAO 133
SCARCE = FINAL COLLECTION COPY!
Original 1969 first issue was issued early in February of that year and remains: - the HARDEST Beach Boys LP to find (especially in clean condition.)
20/20 was filled with (rather awesome) leftovers in order to fulfill contractual obligations to Capitol. It's one of their hottest albums - and better post-Pet Sounds releases, with a couple of good-sized late-'60s hit singles, 'Do It Again' and 'I Can Hear Music' Of exercises. "Time to Get Alone," with its unusually shifting, jazzy melody, was one of Brian Wilson's last outstanding compositions. "Never Learn Not to Love" is a novel by Dennis Wilson, who is the author of the song "Never Learn Not to Love". The highlights, however, were a couple of smile-session-era tunes, especially "Cabinessence," a suite-like collaboration between Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks that gives some idea of ??the complex directions that were explored during that ill-fated project. There are no translations available. To the top of the page you can see the photos of other groups in your area.
"Do It Again" is a rhythmically churning uptempo number that harkens back, to some degree, to their surf rock out of the early 60's. "I Can Hear Music" and "All I Want To Do" are both flamboyant, uptempo rockers while "Bluebirds Over The Mountain" is beautifully crafted and infectious as an uptempo pop number. "Be To Me", "The Nearest Faraway Place", "I Went To Sleep", "Time To Get Alone" and the Charles Manson Co-Composition "Never Learn Not To Love" all contain densely arranged atmospheric moods while "Our Prayer "Is straight up acapella vocal harmony again. "Cabinessence", an outtake from the then unreleased "Smile" sessions and edges close to the then psychedelic explosion which closes this album ...
