Description
An audiophile's dream. These are Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab editions of The Beatles' White Album (MFSL 2-072) and Abbey Road (MFSL 1-023). From the original master recordings. This lot includes the original shipping box for The White Album as well as the bill of sale dated 1982. There is also the June 1982 MFSL order form, a warranty certificate and an MFSL survey card.
Vinyl Condition:
ALL MINT, MINT, MINT. I've sold a lot of records and I know exactly what it means to use the word "mint" to describe vinyl. All four records are in anti-static vinyl inner sleeves that protect them beautifully from sleeve wear or abrasions. The records have almost certainly never been played. They are so beautiful that I didn't even want to remove them from their sleeves again to photograph them. I guarantee that you will completely agree with my condition assessment or you can return your purchase for a full refund. I'll even pay the return postage upon safe return of the items.
Sleeve conditions:
Abbey Road is NEAR MINT with only slight flaring at the mouth. No splits or repairs. Little to no wear and no abrasions. Includes original MFSL informational insert. No shrink wrap.
The White Album is excellent with only VERY light corner bumping (photo 10). Otherwise like new. No wear or abrasions. No splits or repairs. Original clear wrap included.
***My research indicates that this 1982 MFSL edition of The White Album did not come with photos or a poster. Each record has a cardboard folder with lyrics.
