Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ....long sought after "HOLY GRAIL" MONSTER RATED 1973 private press ... hands down one of the elite early '70s USA underground hard-rock bands. This is a conceptual of epic proportions... completely solid heavy psych with the 'right sound' in every track.

The power-guitar trio THUNDERPUSSY is up there, highly rated among other gems of the rearly '70s ala Sorcery's "Sinister Soldiers" and "No Rest For The Wicked" By Sorcery... This isn't a mindless headbanging style of bone-head stoner rock, but rather completely different. The Thunderpussy plays as a smooth running unit, finesse and infectious melodies are the center core flamed by power guitar riffing and dirty distortion leads. Long been one of our favorites of the style, the catchy hooks within the self written songs are highly memorable and timeless.
So this is the work of the 1973 hard rock/progressive trio from Quincy in South Illinois.
Nice (mostly) hard-rockin' progressive way above your average heavy rock, these cats raise the bar when talking quality sound and moves... Production is surprisingly excellent, professionally mixed without sounding in the least commercial - in fact there was no hope for any commercial potential here. The complex power trio performs song titles that are utterly baffling, with each of the six tracks or "documents" ("Document Of Enigma", "Document Of Latent Summation", etc.) endowed with TWO titles; one for the "song" part of the song ("Scream Inside" and "Observation Of Us" being a couple.) A total of 18 titles for 6 songs. If that sounds like madness - and don't even ask about the lyrics.
While the whole of the sum is not at all contrived but rather quite experimental at times, the concept album (apparently about a poem) contains off-kilter tunes within each other -- having seemingly three parts to every song, most of which travel beyond the five-minute mark, progressive heavy-rock heaven! Performances throughout are varied, from beautifully performed heavy rockers to suites of songs with deep, poetic musings on the nature of good vs. evil, class inequalities and other subjects. These songs weave fragile guitar interludes with classic guitar heaviness, traditional prog-rock timed craziness and general higher elevation musical themes. Intensely and enthusiastically performed! Highly recommended!

CONDITION: The cover: rated: M- (((fantastic))) solid & thick colorful cardboard cover has no wear - NO WEAR (!!) that is an impossible feat for this black cover 45 years of age!! The seams are extremely strong, the structure is 100% flat & square with 4 sharp corners. This 1973 first pressing has been professionally laminated (no seams are visual on front or back cover.) The lamination technique is nothing short of amazing. Overall the cover looks as nice as the photo here
The vinyl: Rated: M- VERY CLEAN all over, play graded with M- audio, no issues so makes for an enjoyable collectible, one that can be enjoyed as the tracks grow with each spin! Both MRT (private) labels are clean
