Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This very rare and highly collectible LP -- from 1961 -- by the '50's-'60's R'n'R/DooWop group, The Miracles, is on the old Tamla Label and is in super nice, near mint, overall condition. The album is entitled, "Hi! We're The Miracles" and features 11 great early songs of their's -- before they became "Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. :):):) The LP even comes with it's original Tamla/Motown inner sleeve. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, including LPs by The Cadillacs, The Mar-Kets (autographed even), Frankie Lymon, and more early LPs by this group amongst others. As mentioned already, this LP is in very nice overall condition and features 11 great songs from that time---most of which were Smokey Robinson penned---and including their hit "Shop Around". In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are very, very good, but, please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge it all for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the Tamla Label, 220, in original MONO. I don't even see any spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me it may have been played very sparingly. A previous owner's name is written lightly on one side only---but it appears to be removable with a little work and creativity. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice---practically as nice as the day it was 1st purchased some 50 years ago---in my opinion, anyway. JACKET INFO: The beautiful, colorful jacket cover -- with a great picture of the entire group at the time -- is also in super nice shape, but does have just a couple, small scuff marks along the seam areas and and that previous owner's name is re-written on the backside only. Otherwise, it is just fine and looks great!! So again, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself---regardless of these minor flaws, this is one very rare and very hard to find LP. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early and rare 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of decent overall shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all genres to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in super good shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
