Description
MIRIAM BACKHOUSE SIGNED Gypsy Without A Road MOTHER EARTH Prog Folk 1975 UK LP
Miriam Backhouse, Gypsy Without A Road.
Signed and dedicated in pen to top left of rear panel "To Dave love Miriam (Backhouse) x"Original 1975 England pressed Mother Earth Records stereo LP, MUM 1203.
Vinyl is very slightly uneven, but this is fractional. Undulation movement is not obvious on the turntable and music is not affected.
Visually vinyl EX, still very glossy and with just a very few light scuff marks.
Play grades just short of EX. Some occasional very low level crackle and a very few isolated soft ticks. At least some of these perhaps inherent in the press as the surfaces do look clean. The surfaces are underlyingly quiet however and much of the LP plays very cleanly indeed.
Labels are clean and unmarked and spindle activity is minimal.
Inner sleeve is replacement plain paper. The original had become quite torn, but I will include it. The original inner is plain with just MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 1-77 to bottom left corner. I did have a scout for a replacement but could only dig out a 76 and 78!
External sleeve a strong EX. Structurally sound and with crisp unworn spine, edges and entry side. The laminated front panel is still very bright and clean. There is just a little very minor darkening/handling smudging to the matt white rear panel.
