Misfits The Complete EvilivE LP
IMPORT [Germany]
I am thinning out some of the duplicates from my record collection...this one is The Complete EVILIVE by the Misfits, on limited edition black and blue splattered color vinyl (500 copies, import only).
This is the infamous uncut version of the shows that were later used on the Misfits live album. Pretty typical performance, quality, tuning and banter that any Fiend Club member would expect from this era of the band. It is notorious because singer Glenn Danzig replaces the lyrics to "Teenagers From Mars" with "Bobby Steele's an asshole fucking cunt" dedicated to the 'Fits former guitar player. In interviews, Bobby seems to have a pretty good sense of humor about this. Danzig has no sense of humor about anything...well, he might crack a smile at a good necrophilia joke or the thought of Jerry Only trying to sing his songs.
Jerry is now in a Misfits tribute band called "Misfits." Bobby went on to form a band called The Undead. Glenn would later start Samhain, Danzig, one fistfight he couldn't finish, and a bunch of lawsuits.
