Comments: Mail order version limited to 300 copies. Issued with a printed inner sleeve and pressed on 180-gram vinyl. Sticker on front sleeve stating "Exclusive LP Colour DEVIL'S PURPLE." And for the first time, sleeve variant with a green logo and a pink sky, with green-eyed rat-bat-spider-crab. The inner record sleeve has song lyrics on one side and the Misfits skull on the other side. This early copy ordered from Earache's webstore also contains an extra band photo insert that was shot by Eerie Von.
Officially licensed from Warner/Slash, the audio for this vinyl is taken from the original master tapes, which have been supplied directly from Warner/Slash. Engineered at Mix-O-Lydian Studio, Boonton, NJ. Remixed at Quad Teck, L.A., CA. This pressing will surely be considered the definitive vinyl edition of this punk classic.
For many years, long-time Earache Record fans have wondered what would be given the highly coveted MOSH666 catalog number. The answer is here, and it's hard to think of a more fitting and appropriate album for this release.
