RARE original UK first pressing of The Modern Jazz Quartet`s "Under The Jasmin Tree" on Apple Records (1968). Cover art by famed pop artist Alan Aldridge.

"Under The Jasmin Tree" was the first of only two albums that The Modern Jazz Quartet recorded for Apple Records.

GRADING:

Original fully laminated VG+(+) COVER. Sleeve has a bit of laminate lift along the spine, front and back. Also a number of light creases mainly to front of sleeve. Please see photos for details.

VG++ RECORD with some hairlines, mostly from sleeve removal. Plays near-perfect with only a bit of background crackle in between tracks. As with the other Modern Jazz Quartet record currently on sale here, the matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "A-1" and "B-1" respectively, making this a very first UK pressing!

Also includes original black Apple Records inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
