The Rolling Stones
'Sticky Fingers'
Half-Speed Master MFSL 1-060 Vinyl LP
The disk and album cover are not original to each other. I bought the album cover a year ago for really cheap thinking there was a record in it but when it arrived it had no record but the description clearly did state it was for the cover only. Put it back thinking I may one day find a disk without the MSFL Cover and eventually did.
Record is exceptionally clean, and shines. VG+ or better but I am not good at rating vinyl. It sounds amazing. Cover G or G-, shows signs of wear and has a 2” seam split on the top sleeve. The zipper is not a real zipper and is gold embossed.
Inserts and warranty cards are excellent condition. The group photos on one side and Lips 👄 on the other is a single, piece of paper and not an inner sleeve.
Description From the seller of the disk:
CONDITION
Record: NM
Sleeve: Static-Free Sleeve, NM. Includes Cardboard Bi-fold Insert From Original Half-Speed Master Jacket.
There are many matrix / runout numbers for this remaster. For those that care, this looks like a variant 5 version according to Discogs.
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 5): MFSL-1-060-A7 SR/2 ORTOFON H171⁜D T/M
Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, variant 5): MFSL-1-060-B̶6̶ A̶7̶ B-6 H161⁜ T/M ORTOFON SR/2
Note: Cool scratched out and corrected 'side' numbers, and the H161 is actually H191
(I didn't bother to check all the other 508 frikin' versions of this thing, but I think this is correct).
Note: This was the first time Mick Jagger ever used the iconic lips logo, created by an art student in London.
