Since eBay is now charging for shipping costs, I have decided to now offer free shipping for all purchases.  Please note that I still must charge for international shipping -- please see the note below. 

This item is a very rare and infamous album – the original Brown Bag Records pressing of the one and only album by the band Mom’s Apple Pie, entitled Mom’s Apple Pie.  Let me set the stage for you – this band gets a recording contract with the Brown Bag label, a small label distributed by United Artists (then one of the major record and move labels in the world).  They record this album and it is presented to the record company with artwork depicting a woman in an apron holding an apple pie.  What could be more wholesome than that?  Well, Alex, I’m going with “What is EVERYTHING?”  See, these lunkheads decided to sneak a subliminal secret ingredient in the apple pie being served up, and … well, let’s just say that it could have inspired the movie American Pie.  It is very, very naughty.  Of course, when UA brass found out about it they were mortified, and had this original cover withdrawn and replaced.  But some of them remained out there, and this is one of them.  It is in beautiful near-mint condition – you will not find a nicer pressing unless you find it still-sealed (which is rather unlikely).  By the way, I have listened to and purchased a lot of music in my day, and have never even heard of any of these guys ever again.  I think the lesson to be learned is that one really should not try to sneak an offensive cover out on a major record company, as it may cause very large ripples in one’s future career prospects.

Both the vinyl and the cover are in beautiful near-mint condition, as shown in the photo.                                                                                    

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  If you do not fully understand and agree, PLEASE DO NOT BID.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  In addition, the USPS just increased their rates.  To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD.  To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD.  Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond).  Other countries will be about the same as to Europe.  Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID.  I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time. 

Shipping within the US is free, via media mail.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.  

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation,  ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.  

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
