Description

THE most sought after and collectible UK pressing of The Beatles' classic "White Album" from 1968 is the UNIQUE MONO MIX

This is among the VERY FIRST pressings of this classic LP from the UK in MONO! Only the earliest pressing do not have "An EMI recording" on the label. Some have it on one disc, and not the other. this set doesn't have it on either
* VERY EARLY PRESSING: Low 00 imprint number: No 0056050 so, below the first 60k copies ever printed * Clean, white cover with no tears or writing-glossy and quite new looking * Poster and 4 portraits are in clean, excellent condition * No "An EMI recording" on any label                   SEE PHOTOS-they are part of the description * matrix #'s: -1/-1/-1/-1 * Archival inner sleeves- originals not present
Vinyl notes:
There is a very slight barely noticeable warp to the discs, which does not effect play whatsoever, this can be corrected with today's vinyl flatteners, but bears mentioning  Disc 2 plays without noteworthy mention  Disc 1 there is a blemish on side 1 that causes a tick at the last moments of "Blackbird" and into the first 25 seconds or so of           "Piggies"  The entire set was conservatively play-tested..and it's rating is strong VG/VG+ overall. It provides a solid enjoyable listen  with an occasional blemish that  soon vanishes. 
 These relatively minor issues have been figured into the price, which would be in the 1k range without them.
