Description
Up for bid is an original 1964 MONO pressing of The Beatles' Second Album. What makes this copy exceptional is that it is still in the original shrink wrap. The cover is CAP 2080.MCI by Bruce Spizer's Beatles' Story on Capitol Records. The Cover is in EX++ condition due to some staining from the glue used to adhere the front slick to the cardboard backer. Otherwise, it would be M-. The shrink wrap is torn 1 1/2" in the top left rear cover, but the cover is totally intact and very beautiful. The back cover is still pristine atles LP covers seen this clean.
The record is a genuine first pressing with a Spizer code of CAP 2080.MR1A. The record is M- with only extremely light paper scuffs keeping it from being Gem Mint. This is an extremely fine copy of the Beatles' Second Album. The vinyl has full gloss, of course, just like new. The LP comes with its original dark blue Capitol inner bag which is EX++ with no seam tears.
Overall, this is a very nice package if you are a Beatles Collector and you are looking for quality. Low starting bid makes this an easy choice. Please see my other auctions this week with great quality Beatles LPs in shrink wrap. Good Luck and thanks for looking!
