>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>JUST LOOK AT THIS WAX!!!!!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
This U.S. MONAURAL RCA PRESSING is by far the rarest, RCA JIM REEVES record since: "Jim Reeves: "SINGING DOWN THE LANE"!! RCA, in 1968, wanted to COMPLETELY phase out their Monaural studio pressings. They had, in their mind, perfected the art of converting MONAURAL recordings into "Electronically Processed Stereo". The head men at RCA thought they had invented a masterpiece program of stellar performance. Well, ask any tech head and you'll find quite the opposite of opinion! Do I need to say more? Because of the incredible demand for STEREO, this was the LAST JIM REEVES pressing in the MONAURAL format. This closes 13 +/- years of MONAURAL, LONG PLAY, 33 1/3 Album Manufacturing. Although RCA continued to press albums in Europe in this 'dead' monaural format, you will NOT FIND ANY MONO LPs from RCA DOMESTICALLY!! This is the reason this LP is so VERY,VERY VERY RARE!! Don't trust me...check it out for yourself and my words will prove quite true.
*****The record itself is in beautiful: MINT- Condition *****The cover is in: VG Condition. I'm hard on myself so please look closely at the pictures I have provided. I am a life-long Jim Reeves collector and can assure you that this record came to me in the condition of which I am presenting and has been very well cared for since received. Thanks for looking at my auction!
