MONTEUX – STRAVINSKY : PETROUCHKA / FIREBIRD SUITE – RCA SB 2037
1957 RCA stereo recording issued in their Living Stereo series on red/silver spot label catalogue no. SB 2037. Pierre Monteux conducting the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra in Petrouchka and The Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky.
The disc is clean and shiny; side 1 has a 2cm very light INAUDIBLE scratch. On each side we were only able to detect 1 very faint tick. The sleeve is intact but discoloured in places, with record impress and small label residue at top right front.
