Description
This is the original UK LP by THE MOODY BLUES, ON THE THRESHOLD OF A DREAM, SUPER RARE 1969 MONO 1st Press on the tan and white DERAM label DML 1035.
Matrix numbers are:- Side 1:- ARL- 8827-2W , Side 2:- ARL-8827-2W

Super low stampers, pressed from the 1st Mother stamper!
The original very 1st UK 1969 issue Garrod and Lofthouse laminated cover, is in EX condition. The thickly laminated outside of the cover maintains all it's beautiful rich deep colour, gleaming!, inside is lovely and clean. The stapled in lyric booklet is intact, clean, no rips or tears, clean. Their is no unwanted writing. The super broad spine is fully intact, clean and perfectly readable.
The vinyl is in EX+++ / MINT- condition.!!, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre! . The vinyl plays EX+++, only a 'hint' of very light crackle to be heard in the quietest of sections.
This is really a sheer delight to listen too, the swirling wind sound effects and spoken word on the album are sublime, and the whole album sounds so much better in MONO. And their is the dead-lock track at the end of the album, with the reprise of the swirling wind sound effect.
SIMPLY AN AMAZING ALBUM!
The tan and white Deram Mono label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, no unwanted writing, little or no wear
The vinyl is housed in its original 1969 UK red boarded Mono polythene lined inner sleeve and is in EX+ condition, no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
