Description
STONKING unissued swamp-rocker on the topside; flip is a brooding slow burner with a long, haunting instrumental introduction. Not sure of its origins but I did hear a group called Moon released a 45 on Liberty around 1969 - could this be the same outfit? At an uneducated guess I'd say this was a Brit mob with a Creedence fixation; the enunciation reeks of Middle England & the musicality is cod-Louisiana Bayou, all the better for it, I say. Labels are dog-rough as you can see & the sound is rather crackly with a jump at the start of 'Mississippi Woman', but never mind the width, feel the quality...this is a genuine 2-sided corker.
