Description

Prestige Records 7099, original dg hi-fi issue. Recorded 1957 by Rudy Van Gelder. W. 50th Street black-on-yellow fireworks label with RVG stamp in run-off-groove. Record is VG++, Cover is VG+, some age yellowing and light scuffs in the 50-year history of this record. Jacket and label have ancient rubber stamp "Not For Sale" once on back cover, and once on disc label. Cover was designed by Andy Warhol in conjunction with Reid Miles and calligraphy by Andy Warhol's mother. A very solid example of a cult classic!
