There's something very 90s-sounding about Jagged Little Pill - not in terms of anything generic but because Canadian singer Alanis Morissette was just such an omnipresent force on the airwaves and television. This third studio album of hers - and first to be released worldwide - spent 221 weeks in the UK charts. In the time that's passed since, the world may have changed a lot but the love Alanis Morisette has never dwindled. Poised to play Glastonbury in 2025, there's no doubt she'll draw one of the biggest crowds of the weekend. And it's largely down to the songs from this album that people will be there. 'You Learn', 'You Oughta Know' and 'Ironic' are so universal in their appeal and are a showing of pop music at its finest.
